KRL Infratech India Limited (KRL), is a limited company formed in 2007 with its head office in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.

KRL is pioneers in the field of Slag Management and Metal Recovery with over a three and half decades of experience in various steel plants within and outside India.

Prior to 2007, the chief promoter of KRL, Mr. Pawan Kumar Lakhotia, along with his brothers were owner of earlier companies having exposure to all steel plants of Steel Authority of India Limited i.e., Bhilai, Rourkela, Bokaro, Durgapur, Burnpur, Bhadravathi. Since 1987, for 21 years, the focus was majorly on liquidation of old slag dumps of all SAIL units with the help of excavation, metal recovery and disposal of metal free slag.
